Luckily though, you can take action to reduce air pollution in your home! Although light pollution can occur during the day, it is exacerbated during the night-time and can cause issues such as sleep deprivation and depression.

While there’s not a lot you can do to reduce light pollution outside, you can protect your home from light pollution by installing total blackout cassette blinds in your windows.

These specialist blinds use a cassette and side channel system to completely block outside light from entering your home, making them perfect for combatting light pollution.

However, thanks to modern technology, it has never been easier to sidestep water pollution at home thanks to advances in water filtration units.

You can combat sound pollution in your home by applying so called “acoustic paint” onto your home’s walls, this paint has been created to help stop sound from passing through walls as it contains vinyl acrylic and is a much better insulator than regular home paint.

By applying a few coats of this acoustic paint to your walls, you will reduce the amount of noise pollution that reaches your home’s interior.
